The editors of Academic of Business and Economics (ARBE) journal employ mechanisms in place to prevent unfair publication practices and place a strong emphasis on the ethics of the publication process. You can read more about this issue here.
Below are the steps that each submitted article goes through:
Stages of the publishing process:
- Submitting declarations
The author submits the article to the journal, submitting the required declarations. The declarations are available here. - Internal verification
Once an article is submitted, the editors review it for compliance with the journal’s profile and editorial requirements. The subject matter, formatting and completeness of the submission are evaluated. - Decision of the Editorial Committee
The Editorial Committee decides whether to include the article in the further editorial process. At this stage, scientific value and compatibility with the journal’s subject area are considered. - Reviewing process
The article is sent to two independent reviewers. The double-blind peer review system ensures that both the author and the reviewers remain anonymous to each other, which guarantees the objectivity of the article’s evaluation in terms of content. More details here. - Sending the review to the author
Once the review process is complete, the reviewers’ comments and recommendations are sent to the author. - Response to reviews and revisions
The author has a specified time to make changes in accordance with the reviewers’ comments. At the same time, he sends a detailed response to the reviews received, indicating how they were taken into account in the article. - Acceptance of amendments
The editor verifies the corrections made, checking that all the reviewers’ comments have been properly addressed. - Editing and proofreading
The article is submitted for linguistic proofreading and editorial editing. At this stage, the text is prepared for publication in terms of language, style and technical aspects. - Acceptance of the article for publication by the Author
The author reviews the changes made during the editing stage and accepts the final version of the article. - Publication
After all the stages are completed, the article is published on the electronic service of the journal, providing wide access to readers from all over the world.
Reviewing process
The review process involves assessing the merits of an article by filling out the appropriate form in the journal’s ARBE (Editorial System). The review should include a clear recommendation to accept the article for publication or reject it; recommendations for “conditional acceptance” after taking into account the reviewer’s corrections are also acceptable. The reviewer is encouraged to provide detailed comments, the inclusion of which conditions the acceptance of the text for publication, and make corrections directly on the electronic version of the article submitted for evaluation. The review procedure is carried out in accordance with ethical standards, which are described in detail here.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The ARBE Editorial Board reserves the right to conduct more than one round of review, and the final decision to accept or reject an article is made by the ARBE Editor-in-Chief.
Transparency and Support for Authors
ARBE’s publishing process is designed to ensure maximum transparency and support authors at every stage. The journal makes every effort to ensure that reviews and comments are constructive and that the entire process takes place in an atmosphere of professionalism and mutual respect.
We invite authors to collaborate and publish their research results in the Academic Review of Business and Economics journal, which is committed to quality, openness and the development of science.
